Precautions for Novel Coronavirus Infection
1. Wear a mask
It is a MUST when using public transportation or visiting public places.
2. Wash your hands frequently
Wash your hands with soap and running water for 30 seconds.
3. Cough Etiquette
Cover your mouth with your sleeve or elbow.
Please follow these precautions to protect yourself and your neighbors!

Precautions for Preventing Novel Coronavirus Infection
※ If you show respiratory symptoms such as coughing, make sure to wear a mask.
(Especially when leaving the house or visiting a clinic/hospital)
※ Frequently wash your hands for at least 30 seconds with running water and soap.
※ Try not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth.
※ If you are not wearing a mask,
cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve when you cough or sneeze.
※ If you have traveled overseas, inform medical staff of your travel history.
If you experience fever or show respiratory symptoms (coughing, sore throat, etc.)
within 14 days after visiting China, including Wuhan, Hubei :
① Call 1330 (Korea Travel Hotline) or 1345 (Immigration Contact Center)
or 120 (Dasan Seoul Call Center).
② Before visiting a hospital or public health center, please contact one of
the numbers above for counseling and follow the instructions.
③ Inform medical staff of your overseas travel history.

Q. How to prevent infection when visiting China?
A.
Before Departing :
- Check the status of the virus and information for infection prevention on the official website of
your nation’s centers for disease control and prevention(CDC) or department of disease control.
During Travel :
- Avoid contact with poultry and wild animals.
- Avoid contact with those who show respiratory symptoms (e.g. fever, shortness of breath, etc.).
- Refrain from visiting places with risk of infection, such as local markets.
- Practice good personal hygiene, such as washing your hands and covering your mouth and nose
when coughing/sneezing.
After Returning :
- If you experience fever or show respiratory symptoms (coughing, sore throat, etc.) within 14 days of your return from China, call 1330 or 1345 or 120.
- Also, if you wish to see a doctor for diagnosis of suspected symptoms, please contact one of the numbers above first for counseling and follow the instructions before visiting a hospital or public health center.
- Make sure to inform medical staff of your overseas travel history.
